Easy Fruit/Yogurt Smoothie Ingredients
Makes 4- 12oz. smoothies
* 1 cup yogurt (fr. vanilla)
* 1 large banana
* 2 cups Froz Fruit (strawberries, pineapples,peaches)
* 2 cups ice
* 1 squirt of honey (leave honey out if juice is used instead of water)
* Fill water to almost top of fruit (or juice can be used)
Now blend until smooth. Then add the remaining ingredients...
* 1 scoop of fiber
* 2 scoops of protein powder
Pulse until blended.
Serve and ENJOY!!
Back Door BBQ Recipe
For the meat we used tip roast
Instructions:
- Put the dry rub on the meat (for a great rub mix recipe visit cooks.com)
- Put the meat on a hot skillet or grill and allow some of the juices from the meat to char
- Next, wrap in foil and let the meat cool, Store overnight in fridge.
- Start your smoker (use damp oak - it creates a great smoke for flavor.)
- Temperature is everything when cooking your meat - For the tip roast, 250° seems to work well
- Cook the meat uncovered for 2 hours
- Then wrap in tinfoil and cook for 4 more hours
- Take the wrapped meat from the smoker and let cool for 2 hours.
- Put in refrigerator until ready to eat.
Things to look for in the cooked meat: a nice even texture, a beautiful smoke ring around the outer edge of the cut meat, and the meat should be easy to pull apart.
After 2 hours it’s ready to eat or store overnight in fridge. Though you won’t be able to wait, it smells too good. You might not even need BBQ sauce, so pull it apart and start the party.
